Upcoming and Passed events 

2009 - just busy living. There's tons of stuff to do. If you totally love the crystal bowls and can't be without, consider making one of them part of your life. Play it, have fun with it. Don't wait for me or others like me to play them. Get one yourself. Enjoy, and make the most of Now.

2008 - as my focus is shifting, my attention is primarily with my one-on-one clients. So there will not be any formally organised workshops with me. I am happy to entertain the thought of leading or being part of a corporate function. If you would like to speak with me about this, by all means, do.

June 2006: It is my delight to announce that there will be no public events any time soon. Family events and close friends circles are in order. I encourage everyone to start a New Moon and/or Full Moon ritual, either with friends or alone; to more fully taste all the various flavours that each month has to offer. Follow the seasons with your heart.

June 2005: So far 2005 has seen me do a few events, most of which were coming up fast and rather spontaneous; and to all of which I have not been the initiate. Hence they are not advertised here. This year, as a family, we are in the process of renovating our home and welcoming our new family member, Ella, who is a Great Dane puppy. For anyone who's ever done this, you will understand that renovating and training a new dog takes heart and soul and lots of time. Bathed in Sound 4th December 2004

Another exciting Bathed in Sound event is coming in early December, where we shall be dancing the labyrinth. A new and exciting way to look at- , feel- and be with the famous Chartre Cathedral Labyrinth in celebration of Life, Love and Light. And certainly last but not least to give thanks to all the wonderful rain we are having this spring time. May this coming harvest be one of plenty.

More information about this event will be following closer to the date. For now, just make sure to pencil this into your calendar. You want to be there on the night! Same venue and probably same time and prices apply as usual.

Getting to the Grand Mercure Hotel. If you are flying into Coolangatta Airport, there are several options for getting to the Grand Mercure Hotel at 81 Surf Parade Broadbeach. It is about 25mins from the airport so a taxi would cost around $30. There is a hotel transfer available by mini bus for $14 or if there is a group of 4, you can travel in a limousine for $40 (total). Either way, it is best to phone the Hotel direct on 07 5592 2250 and ask for Chris, the head concierge. If you give him your flight details, he will book the transfer for you.

Beltane - Crystal Bowl Healing Meditation

I want to thank the Southern Cross Academy of Light, The Sydney Sacred Gong ensemble and the Harmonic Choir, for giving me the opportunity each time, to play alongside different instruments with such unique and talented people. It's so much fun every time and I get a great buzz from the challenge which arises when I am placed in these situations.

19th of December saw Bronwyn Kirkpatrick and myself indulge in the combined sounds of the Crystal Bowls together with Bronwyns gift and talent on the Shakuhachi Flute.

Friday 10 October 2003 was the night of the mystifying Didgeridoo plaid by Mark Cottee, alongside the Crystal Bowls. Both the Didgeridoo and the Shakuhachi Flute sound well together with the Crystal Bowls, as they do of course on their own, as well. Both Bronwyn Kirkpatrick and Mark Cottee are masters of their instruments, and it is an entrancing delight to hear them play.

Shirley Darby's 5th Festival of Colour

This year on the 21 September 2003, which was also World Peace Day, Shirley Darby held another of her Groovy Yearly Events in Celebration of Colour up at Toukley RSL. Michele facilitated the opening Meditation/Workshop with her 13 Singing Crystal Bowls. The crowd loved her presentation and wanted more. ^ top

Sounds of Peace Concert

Together with other key artists/healers Michele Macgregor was invited to play her Crystal Bowls once again. Joined by a Celtic Harp, Bass Guitar, Shakuhachi Flute, Mediaeval Dancer and more Crystal Bowls, the Evening was dedicated to World Peace Day, and saw a 160 strong crowd all fit into the cozy Concert Hall of Mary Mackillop Place, in North Sydney. It was a wonderfully inspirational experience with the key intention and prayer for world peace.

Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School

As part of Parent & Teacher Training Michele was invited to present the divine marriage and workings of Colour and Sound, on Tuesday 28 October @ Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School. This was a very exciting event for Michele in particular as she grew up near Arlesheim in Switzerland, which is the sovereign home of Anthroposophy.

What are Singing Crystal Bowls?

The Singing Crystal Bowls are a Pure Tone Instrument and as such are fast becoming an important tool for the age we live in today. I regard them as a powerful energetic superfood. Made from Pure Quartz Mineral, they were originally made to serve as incubators for Microchips, by the Computer Industry, in the Silicon Valley.

How do they Work & Why do we need them Now?

Having entered their divine purpose for use, they have just evolved, and are now being used by people like myself, for sound/vibrational healing purposes. Similar to their original use during Atlantean & Lemurian times. The vibration goes out sideways, much like a ripple in water, and carries for a radius of minimum 20 km. The sound can be heard for about a quarter mile.

As Quartz is a natural Amplifier, the bowls are a valuable adjunct to any healing modality you may be using. The power of the Singing Crystal Bowls is of an alchemical nature that can transform/transmute negative energy into reusable positive energy, in a big way. And as such, I feel that they are a Super food of energetics.

Hearing the sound and feeling the vibration throughout the bodies energy center, rebalances left and right hemisphere, and has a dry cleaning effect on toxic waste, of a physical, emotional or environmental nature. Hence, it refreshes the mind-body and the heart, blowing old cobwebs away.

In nature, it makes things grow lush and bright and full of joy, a bit like an environmental clean up. Every Council should have a set as part of a good maintenance clean up policy.

The same effect is felt in the office, as the vibration penetrates everything in its reach. From the desk and the pen on it, through the walls and to the neighbouring rooms and buildings. In a similar way to that of, subzero temperatures ridding the air of viruses, bacteria and gases, so too, works the sound and vibration emitted by the Quartz bowls. Only it expands and does not shrink.

The Power of Sound

Sound is a very ancient & powerful tool for transformation. You know how you feel when listening to your favourite piece of music, and how your body responds to 'the noise' of a different kind of music. Not everyone responds in the same way to the same piece of music / sound.

However, the sounds emitted by the pure tones of Singing Crystal Bowls, is an entirely different experience altogether. The sound emitted by a pure tone Quartz Crystal Bowl is highly transformational. Not only does it balance left and right hemisphere it also clears any blockages in the physical subtle & etheric- also known as the KA-body. The sound waves and vibrations send the listener into an altered state of Chiron / or No Time space.

From that vantage point, the mind and body get time out and can rebalance, recharge and refocus independently. Leaving you squeaky clean, you walk away highly charged and set up to deal with life's challenges in a way that you never felt possible before.

IQ vs EQ vs SQ

Power to the people.

More and more people today are becoming aware of the importance of not only IQ levels and Emotional Intelligence, but are also embracing the need for Spiritual Intelligence.

What does this mean? Simply put, my understanding is that IQ says: Yes, I can, I know, I do, Let's Let's Let's. Where as EQ reaches a bit deeper and can say: No, I don't have to, I know better than to..., I care. Now the SQ, has been patiently waiting in line for its 'Q', and it asks: 'who am I, how does it all fit together, what on earth are we doing?'

On closer inspection these are some of the more important thinking questions we will be embracing, if not out of a thirst for the meaning of life, then simply out of the increasing dissatisfaction with economic systemization slowly consuming the western world.

These systems are a bit like the water levels slowly rising around the globe, thanks to the melting ice caps at each pole. First there is the TV coverage on the subject, where we all look up for a brief moment like cows in a paddock, chewing on lush grass, and then continuing on eating, like nothing serious is happening, at least not on our doorstep. No revolution starts with a full belly.

Then swimming in the ocean becomes easier, because the water is 'ah' so cozy and warm all of a sudden - secure jobs, a new car, regular holidays, LG, Life's Good.

And then, OMG, they are speaking of Tidal Waves. And... 'What do you mean Tornados in Switzerland, there's no such thing'. Or... 'How dare they have war after war in my favorite holiday destination.' These are the ever louder alarm bells of the earth, demanding its needs and wants be met at once.

Amidst all this we are heading for an exciting time of change indeed.

Spiritual Intelligence requires that we rediscover our sense of self and self worth, the importance of soul and coming home to the center of our being, by cutting off all outside distractions for a while. By helping the veil of confusion lift and drift away we can more clearly take stock of what is important to us, and our families, on a soul level; to be together and enjoy time together.

Exploring your own spiritual intelligence in relation to the rest of your life is only one option for growing and healing that can take place in a heart & soul @ work workshop or as part of a larger conference.
